[ SPACES ] TWO MINIMALIST SPACES CAPTURED BY HEIDI LERKENFELDT

LE LOFT APPARTIENT styled by TRINE ANDERSEN

Aside from the obvious elements that captured me immediately (botanical pieces, open spaces and a flood of natural light) this space is truly about balance for me. A balance of texture, color, old + new, design and art, coming together in such a subtle manner that it breathes life into the space without over powering it. In my head I keep thinking 'design that coexists and amplifies but does not dominate', truly an uplifting space.

This space was styled by Trine Andersen of Ferm Living whose design approach draws on Scandinavian traditions and retro charm, with an added contemporary edge.

VILLA FREDERIKSBERG designed and styled by NATALIA SANCHEZ ECHEVARRIA

Another beautiful space captured by Heidi Lerkenfeldt, this one is designed and styled by Natalia Sanchez Echevarria, founder of the creative studio Spatial Code. For me this space also achieves a similar design balance and spacial coexistence. Where Le Loft feels a bit more playful and has a slight edge, Villa Frederiksberg is rooted in sophistication.

'Natalia's approach to Interior Design is working with textures, tactility and details. She distributes space, creates bespoke furniture and coordinates materials and colors into distinct universes that create an elaborate, but balanced and inspirational identity to all the projects she developes.

Natalia is dedicated to natural materials, furniture made by hand and sensuous textures.'
